Don’t lose your touch - an iPod touch tip

Sean Bonner ipod touch

We love the form factor of the iPod touch, but damn, they sure are slippery in the pocket. This is not good if you’ve spent all your ducats on your shiny new device and have nothing left over for a decent iPod case. Skateboarder, Sean Bonner, learned this painful lesson firsthand after losing his touch in a cab; it quietly slid right out of his pocket. Surely, the upstanding citizen that recovered Sean’s touch will return it, but until then, Sean decided to prevent his next iPod touch from getting away.

He went to the local skate shop and bought some skateboard deck tape for a couple bucks. After some careful measuring, cutting, and sticking, Sean had an iPod touch that would stay put in his pocket. The process is simple enough, but if you’re really bored you can read his entire step-by-step on his blog.

Looks cool, Sean, but can you do a Frontside 720 on it?

I have an iPhone that I unlocked and it works great on the Rogers Network in Canada…but here is the thing, anytime I go to he US it says No Service. I tried selecting available networks manually and using the Automatic setting nothing. I got in touch with my carrier and they said there are no restrictions anybody know whats up and how can I fix this.
