IF someone has an iphone, and not a computer (pc or mac), THEN they cannot sync with plaxo. iphone and plaxo do not speak to one another. What that means is.....you must sync your outlook or google contacts with plaxo. THEN you may LOOK at your plaxo account only. You can call from your plaxo address book, etc but it is not a real sync. Bogus. I am trying to get the sync to download to my buddies iphone, but it does not exist. Is there any software that will allow my buddy (who has no pc or mac) to sync contacts so he will never lose them if his phone dissapears? Any ideas? Help.

Plaxo's concept of duplicate is nonsense. They have no clue on what they talk about, what they want and what they do. They create lots of duplicates. I've done live test with plaxo, hotmail, yahoo, gmail, outlook, mac. The trial was on fresh clean brand new accounts. Plaxo creates duplicates.

The sync between Plaxo and and Google contacts is only one way (google to plaxo) and updates to contact information are not sync'ed.

Not really a sync solution in my opinion.

Olivier,

It doesn't sync directly to your native iPhone address book or calendar. It syncs via your Mac. The real advantage of this mobile version is that the interface makes it quick and easy to lookup your addresses through th browser on the go.
