$100 credit for iPhone early adopters

It looks like Steve Jobs has had some time to think about his earlier words of tough love. In an open letter on Apple’s web site, he writes:

… we need to do a better job taking care of our early iPhone customers as we aggressively go after new ones with a lower price.

Logistics still have to be worked out, but apparently every pre-price-cut iPhone buyer (those within the 14-day grace period excluded) will get $100 in Apple store credit.

It’s good to know that a Apple still cares about its loyal fan base!
