Your tips - Open links in new tabs with Tabulate

Tabulate

With Tabulate, iPhone and iPod touch users can now enjoy the convenience of ‘open in new tab’ in Safari.

Tabulate is a bookmarklet so you don’t have to hack your device to make it work. You simply add a link to your Safari bookmarks on your desktop computer, then sync iTunes (be sure your iTunes is configured to sync bookmarks). Then, when you’re browsing a page withinteresting links on it, just tap Tabulate from your list of bookmarks. This brings up a floating bar with three options to open the link in the current tab, open it in a new tab, or flag the link for later viewing. Very handy!

The Tabulate home page contains the links with instructions, as well as a demo so you can see how it works. Tabulate was created by Inventive Labs Gadgets.

    This is fantastic! just what I have been wanting to do with safari! I would have thought this would have some how been built into the browser by holding down the link or doing some kinda 2 fingered gesture, but this works very well.

    Don’t see a forum where I can ask this… How does one recalibrate their screen? The areas all seemed to be shifted to the right on my touch. :(

    doesn’t work for me… i am on jailbroken 1.1.4 … nothing hapens when i tap on tabulate and start browsing , infact nothing opens in that window after that
