Your tips - A feast of web apps from MockDock

MockDock

Today, a TouchTip reader tipped us off to MockDock, a web app portal for iPhone & iPod touch.

At first, MockDock looks like a Leaflets clone. Upon closer inspection, however, we find that MockDock gives us access to a gold mine of web apps and lets us choose which ones to add to our start page.

There are tons of apps to choose from in categories such as sports, productivity, entertainment, news, games, and many more (the image here shows only a sample of what’s available). And MockDock even has a Favorite Contacts feature that turns our boring text-based contact list into an icon-based speed dial. Very nice!

To start using MockDock point your browser to http://mockdock.com/, enter your email address (to save your settings), and off you go.

you don’t “put it on the touch” since these are web apps, you simply point safari to mockdock.com. after you enter your email address you should see a menu of apps under several categories. if you find it useful then bookmark mockdock so you can get to it quickly.
