it doesn’t work directly like it says on other postson the site - u have to use ijailbreak. aaron ur dum and need manners. tell ur mom to teach you some.
Aaron, at the time of the posting there was no direct way to do this.
However, as of the last couple of days, AppSnapp has surfaced and there is now a one step method for getting 3rd party apps on your touch / 1.1.1 firmware.

Anyone know if we can revert to pre-jail broken status after using jailbreakme.com? Just wondering cause if apple releases another firmware that fixes some of the bugs with the firmware i kinda wanna update to that and wait it out till Apple releases the SDKs in february
Kanundro, you should be able to just do a restore via iTunes and everything will go back to “factory” settings. Remember this is just to install 3rd party apps, not to unlock it for other carriers.
I know, i was just wondering if it would work for my iPod touch cause i want to jailbreak it and see what can be done with it but at the same time to revert to complete factory everything as if nothing happened to it so that i could update to later firmwares that might fix some of the problems we have now with our iPods. Thanks though.
i just installed apptapp on my iphone. i had the 1.0.1 version
after installing i unlocked and found the install icon.
but going into it i all i found on that page was a empty page. ive got the install and update and so on. but nothing ells.
no community app, nothing.
how can i fix it. or do is till have to download that.

if u jailbroke the iPod touch and restored it can it still breack? Like it wont get damaged?
Jailbreaking your iPhone or iPod touch will NOT damage your device. The worst case scenario is that you’ll have to restore your device via iTunes.
