Multi-touch air hockey for iPhone delivers exciting, multi-player action
FlipSide5, the makers of casual games for iPhone and iPod touch have just released their best effort yet, Touch Hockey, now available as a free download from the App Store.
Touch Hockey is an air hockey clone that uses the multi-touch interface for single or 2-player action. Single player mode pits player against computer while multi-player mode lets two players go head-to-head on the same iPhone, or over wi-fi with another iPhone. At 60 frames per second, the animation is smooth as silk while the graphics feature real-time 3D rendering highlights and accurate physics. Touch Hockey also features instant replay, topping support (trapping the puck with your mallet), and goal size so you can balance the game. You can also set the length of match by adjusting the required points to win.
