Keep your hands warm without alienating your beloved iPhone or iPod touch

iPhone gloves

Special gloves for touch screen devices? We knew it had to happen, we’re just surprised it took this long.

Etre Touchy gloves are 40% off and we don’t mean the price. These gloves have only 6 out of 10 fingers covered, leaving two index fingers and two thumbs exposed to the elements. This provides easy access to your touch screen device while keep your remaining digits nice and cozy.

The Etre Touchy website bills these babies as “stylish”. This will be great news to Pete, our neighborhood homeless guy who has been sporting gloves like these for years. In fact, Pete may want to think about a lawsuit here ’cause we’re pretty sure he invented these. With all due respect to Pete, we’re gonna go out on a limb and say you could probably procure your very own version of these for free by introducing a pair of scissors to the old gloves in your closet.

If you don’t have the stomach to cut up perfectly good clothing, then go ahead and plunk down $23 US on a these gloves, available only from the Etre Touchy web site. And, if you plan on climbing K2 with your iPhone in tow, you might consider using some Gortex mitts with a stylus instead of these fingerless gloves. Otherwise you may end up with 40% off your fingers as well.

Believe you mean “6 out of 10″.

@Scapes – Just testing to see if anyone is actually reading this stuff. You passed, with flying colors. Great job. I updated the post. Keep reading, it’s good to have you here. Thanks.

These are terribly discriminatory to left-handedness. But I guess artists–a majority are left-handed–will simply make their own.

@nycdesigner – The gloves have the tips cut off of both hands. I’m not sure where you’re getting the part about right-handed only. Even in the product photo, you can tell that both the left and right hands have naked tips.

it would be easier just to buy non fingered gloves
    much cheaper ^^

Just get normal gloves and cut off some of the tips would be a good solution too.

But i have had times when i couldnt be bothered to make a phone call / change a song because i didnt want to take my hands out of my gloves

    good invention

So many solutions. Its ovous that the gloves appeal to both right and left-handed people. So what’s the problem there? I agree that its much simpler to cut the tips of your gloves off to suit to your
liking. What I don’t get is why this is such a big deal. –ANGIE
