iPhone Tip: Get email alerts when iPhone apps are available

Is it just us, or are you also having an increasingly difficult time trying to find new apps in the App Store? Maybe it shouldn’t be surprising given that the App Store currently lists over 10,000 apps for the iPhone and iPod touch, but the iTunes interface doesn’t appear to be scaling very well with the rising number of apps available.
Let’s say you’re looking for a better to-do list app for your iPhone. You’ve spent an hour going through the iTunes browse feature and doing some searching, but none of the apps are appealing to you. You know that new apps are showing up in the App Store on a daily basis, but you don’t want to have to go to the App Store every day and do a search for “to-do list” apps. With One Juicer, a free web service, you can now get email alerts when you apps appear in the App Store.
One Juicer is incredible simple. You enter the keywords of iPhone apps you are interested in, such as “card game”, or “cooking recipes”. One Juicer will then send you an email when the latest iPhone apps show up in the App Store and have those keywords in their title or descriptions. You’ll improve your results from this service if you use several keywords for each app you want to track. For instance, “blackjack card game” will give you a more refined list of options in your email than a search on “card game”.
The first email you’ll receive for each app you want to track will contain all of the items currently listed in the App Store. This email is not particularly useful since you can get this same list from doing a keyword search from within the App Store itself. However, subsequent emails will be sent when any new app appears that match your keywords. This is very handy and something that you can’t get from the App Store.
You can sign in to One Juicer to manager your keywords if you wish to change or delete any of them at any time. Currently, you can enter in up to three keywords you wish to track, although One Juicer will be adding more in the future. One Juicer is free of charge and takes about a minute to set up.
