my i-pod touch is broken(i think) when i click on a app from the app store for free its shows up. Then disappers what do i do instead of jailbreaking it doesnt work!!!!

I need help jailbreaking my ipod touch 2.2.1. I have a windows 2000 professional desktop (yea its old) but i was wondering if it was compatible with the whole jailbreaking process?

i ran installer.app on my ipod touch and it works phenomenally
i have hacked it which it what u shud all do rather than keep the average

MUST READ IF HAVEING PROBLEMS ADDING INSTALLER TO 1.1.4 IPOD TOUCH.

at 1st i was scared i would uck up my ipod cause you not really ment to add 3rd party apps. but i decided to try it last night and i mush say i got about 4 hours sleep i was so excided it worked.

1) download ziphone for windows.
2) run ziphone. **hint** when you try and open it a black screen shows up. this is good just wait i second and it will start to load. it will run through the program by itself.
3) it will tell you to put your ipod in recovery mode. just do it… worst case you use itunes to restore.
4) in about 2-3 mins you will have a ipod touch with installer. have funXD

** warning about keyboard apps dont download them as tempting as they may seem. it’s a nearly impossible to remove.

Hey there guys i tested all of these hacks and they all work well, the good thing is i made another jailbreak but its twice as easy. In this one, you click once the button that says JAILBREAK and it will do it in one shot! If you would like this, please note this works on ipod touch, and iphone and this also unlocks the phone and gives you major 3rd party apps rite away such as installer and repos. hey josh thats how i jailbroke mine.. i did it a while back it works perfectly fine luv my ipod now i have pool, guitar hero, nintendo games, all this other neat stuff… but before i tried that hack i did another one somehow it crashed my ipod!! it left it with only 300mb!!!! i was pist! but somehow i managed to fix it lol.. so i have to say going to jailbreakme.com was the easiest!!
