When listening to the iPod touch and the screen is locked, to save time unlocking and choosing music, double tap the home button for the music control display.

Not having the period button on the main keyboard screen can be a little frustrating, last week someone submitted an easy way to do it. There is however a much easier way. Simply when you are at the end of your sentence, double tap the spacebar. It puts a period in and the space as well.

Some iPhones are displaying SMS messages in the wrong order on firmware 1.1.3. This is due to an incorrect date and time setting from the cellular provider. However, the fix is simple. Just switch your phone to auto-sync date and time settings from the network.

If you think your ipodtouch is a bit quiet for you try first checking that the volume limit isn’t on in the ipod settings. Then plug it in to itunes go to the library > music (in your ipod) multi-select all your songs (click the top song - then hold down shift and select the bottom - they should all now be blue) right click select ‘get info’ a warning pops up - say yes for multiple items and then go the the options tab and slide the volume adjuster up (I recommend only a few notches as it really will louden your music!)

Did you know you can get information about your AT&T account instantly sent to you via SMS? You can, by going to Settings > Phone > AT&T Services and request that it be sent to you now. Cool!

This one may be obvious to most of you, but I just discovered it by accident. I was reading the Touchip homepage and found myself at the bottom of the page in Safari. I wanted to go back to the top of the page to enter a new url in the address field. When I started scrolling back up, I accidentally tapped the top bar (the one with the batter life indicator) and Safari popped directly back to the top without the scrolling. I love that.

Just found out:
When you are typing on an iPod touch and you need a tranlation from another language, but you can’t find the special ( áéïjk?çjxž) symbols. You just have hold down the letter you want to have an accent mark on and a toolbar pops up that gives you many options:
Example: hold down A and get à á â ä æ ã å ?
