Cameraman – awesome sports bar game now for iPhone and iPod touch

Cameraman iPhone game

Anyone who has spent even a little time at the local sports pub has probably seen the bar top video game, Cameraman. Now you can have the addictive game right on your iPhone or iPod touch with ESPN Cameraman, now available for free in the App Store.

ESPN Cameraman is a game based on those long time favorite picture puzzles from your childhood, where you compare two similar pictures and try to identify the differences. In this game the pictures are action shots from a variety of sports. Sports photos include scenes from the NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA, Skateboarding, Soccer, Cheerleaders, Olympics, and many more.

Game play is pretty simple. You look at two pictures side-by-side and tap the photo where ever you spot a discrepancy. Each picture contains five differences. You have to identify as many errors as you can before the timer runs out. As soon as you spot a difference you tap it on the touch screen. A correct tap highlights that spot and scores you points. A wrong tap shakes the picture and you lose time. You can tap the camera icon to get a hint, but you only get three.

ESPN Cameraman is fun and highly addictive, and you can pit your skills against the world with an online leader board. The game comes with ESPN themed music but you can mute it and play your own tunes if you wish. This version is free, but ESPN promises a deluxe version out soon which will enable you to download new pictures of your favorite sport weekly.

Oh Dwayne I wish had thought of that before I deleted this app out of boredom. :-) It was fun for a few pics, though.
