The release of iPhone 2.0 and the AppStore is just around the corner, and they are certain to bring a flood of amazing new native applications in a broad range of categories. A new class of business applications will emerge, pushing the iPhone further into the enterprise and thus raising the bar for mobile workforce software. Harvest, the time and expense tracking utility, places itself squarely in this market with its latest release of Harvest for the iPhone. The iPhone version does not have all the features of the desktop version, but it does have the ones you’ll need most when you’re on the go.

Last week, Zinio increased its selection by adding 20 new titles. If you use Google Reader on the iPhone as much as we do, then you’ll probably like this really cool iPhone trick that lets you continue using the iPhone version of Google Reader while using your desktop browser. This fun little trick is great for keeping an eye on your RSS feeds while you continue to work or surf the web in your browser’s main window pane. iPhone wallpaper sites are a dime a dozen, but here at Touchtip we really only like to tell you about the sites that are offer unique, high quality wallpapers. We’ve already told you about a few of them, but we just discovered a new one worth checking out if you are looking to freshen up the face of your iPhone or iPod touch. Despite the site’s name, Pixelgirl offers images that will appeal to both sexes. The wallpapers are free, of course, and designed by a variety of artists. The images range from cute and cuddly, to psychedelic and ’shroomy. Pixelgirl also has big galleries of desktop wallpapers and icons for your Mac or PC computer. It appears that the iPhone wallpaper section of the site is fairly new since there are currently only about sixty of them to choose from. However, the site does take submissions from artists so look for the iPhone selection to grow over time.
